Jose Mourinho reveals how he’s changed Manchester United preparations vs Chelsea

Jose Mourinho has pushed Manchester United’s Friday training session back to the afternoon to accommodate his morning court appearance in Madrid. The Spanish authorities opened a case against Mourinho in June for alleged tax evasion during his spell as Real Madrid manager.

It was alleged Mourinho owes the Spanish state nearly £2.9million in undeclared revenue related to image rights in 2011 and 2012 – a claim that has been strenuously denied by his representatives.Mourinho will appear in a Madrid court at 10am and is due to return to Manchester to oversee training ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match at Chelsea.”It’s just a change of normal training time,” Mourinho explained. “Because I want to be [at training] and I cannot be in the morning, so I had to change the timings, just that. It’s the only thing.”
