Oladips has publicly warned Nasty Blaq not to use his former circumstances for financial gain. He criticized Nasty Blaq for filming a skit aboeut his fake death incident.
Nigerians were plunged into sadness on November 15 when Oladips’ management revealed his death following a two-year personal battle. But after a while, Qdot, a musician and good friend of Oladips posted a video stating that the singer is alive.
This message did not sit well in the mind of Nigeria and some said that he faked his death to bring up his musical career again.
Oladips said Nasty Blaq did not check on him when word of his false death spread, despite the fact that they were neighbors, but he was fast to film a skit about him.
