Rose May Alaba, an Austrian-Nigerian singer, has expressed her reluctance to date or marry a footballer, citing the belief that football players require a significant amount of care and attention.
She emphasized her desire for independence and the pursuit of her own goals and career, which she believes would be compromised in a relationship with a footballer.
During an appearance on the Hip TV program “Trending,” hosted by reality star KimOprah, Rose May, who is the sister of Real Madrid footballer David Alaba, shared her perspective.
She stated, “I don’t want to have a soccer player as a boyfriend because you have to cater for them way too much.
“I need my own life, I want to be independent as well”
When questioned about the breakup between Shakira and Gerard Piqué, Rose May dismissed the idea that career demands were the cause.
She said: “No. I think they broke up because he cheated on her.”
