AC Milan icon Filippo Galli has advised coach Stefano Pioli to include Samuel Chukwueze in the starting lineup for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final second leg encounter against AS Roma.
With AC Milan trailing 1-0 from the first leg, they require at least two goals without conceding to progress to the semi-finals.
Chukwueze has showcased promising performances in recent matches for the Italian side, earning praise for his contributions.
Galli emphasized the importance of having the winger alongside Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic from the start, believing their combined presence will be instrumental in overcoming Roma.
“Chukwueze starting with Roma could be an idea but this doesn’t mean giving up either Leao or Pulisic and perhaps evaluating whether to move Loftus back to midfield: therefore Pulisic as an attacking midfielder,” Galli told the Pianetamilan.
