Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has revealed that he struggled to sleep after missing his penalty against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final.
Silva, who was among the City players that missed their kicks, expressed his frustration with the defeat. However, he managed to bounce back by scoring the winning goal in City’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.
Reflecting on the experience, Silva admitted that it took him some time to overcome the disappointment and regain his focus.
