JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. More than 1.94 million candidates participated in the examination across 118 towns and over 700 centres nationwide.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, made the announcement during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.

The UTME, which commenced on April 19 and concluded on April 29, 2024, saw a delay in the release of results as JAMB took additional time to scrutinize them for credibility and integrity.

This delay aimed to ensure that the results were free from issues such as impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractices, providing clarity and transparency to candidates and stakeholders.
