Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has indicated that he is leaning towards departing rather than remaining with the Premier League champions. Following a 3-1 victory over West Ham that secured their fourth consecutive title, Guardiola expressed uncertainty about his future.
Despite having won the English top flight six times, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss still has one year left on his contract at the Etihad.
He stated to Sky Sports, “The reality is, I’m closer to leaving than to staying.” Guardiola mentioned that he desires to stay for the next season but emphasized the need for further discussions with the club.
