Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu emphasized the importance of children, describing them as significant sources of joy who deserve more love and attention from parents and guardians.
Speaking at the “Celebrating with our Children” event in Abuja, which marked the First Anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Mrs. Tinubu expressed her delight in welcoming the children to the State House and celebrating with them.
Encouraging the children to embrace curiosity, continuous learning, and fearlessness in asking questions, she urged them to dream big and aim for greatness despite any obstacles they may encounter.
Mrs. Tinubu also announced plans to launch the Young Farmers Club initiative under her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) in public primary and secondary schools nationwide.
This initiative aims to promote farming among young people, with the first school to launch the club receiving branded club attire and other incentives.
Additionally, prizes will be awarded to schools with outstanding farms, including renovations, laboratory equipment, ICT resources, and library upgrades.
