Bayern Munich has formally announced Vincent Kompany as their latest manager, with the Belgian signing a three-year deal with the former Bundesliga titleholders.
Kompany will take over from Thomas Tuchel, who departed from the position earlier this summer.
Bayern has agreed to pay £10 million to Burnley to secure Kompany’s release from his contract.
In a statement, Kompany expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating that he looks forward to the challenge at FC Bayern and feels honored to work for such a renowned club in international football.
