Gary Neville, former Manchester United captain, has identified three players he believes will be in contention for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.
In his newsletter, The Overlap, Neville named Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, and Phil Foden as potential contenders. These three English stars were recently included in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season.
Neville emphasized that only France can rival England in terms of the quality of attacking players, citing Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann as examples.
