Federal Lawmaker, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has extended her congratulations to the Muslim community in Nigeria for celebrating Eid-el-Kabir, a significant event in Islam.
Representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Akande-Sadipe expressed in her message that this festivity is a special occasion for Muslims to reflect on their faith and engage with people of other beliefs and humanity at large.
She emphasized that Eid al-Adha, known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for deep reflection, compassion, and unity. As the Chair of the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges, Akande-Sadipe urged Nigerians to follow the example of Prophet Ibrahim, embracing the values of sacrifice, charity, and faith symbolized by the holy day.
In her message, she extended heartfelt greetings to her Muslim brothers and sisters, wishing them abundant wealth, good health, and countless blessings. She called for unity, charity, and kindness, stressing the importance of helping the less fortunate and fostering a society based on compassion, understanding, and mutual respect.
