Popular content creator and singer, Nasboi reflected on the pessimistic forecasts about his career during his early days as a struggling artist. Celebrating his fourth year in the Nigerian entertainment industry, the ‘Small Money’ singer recounted how some doubted his future after he began mimicking afrobeats star Davido.
Contrary to those negative predictions, Nasboi noted that he is still thriving after four years and continuing to grow.
On his X handle, Nasboi wrote: “I’m reminded that people once said there’d be nothing for me after mimicking @davido. lol…. 4 years later, I’m still here. Na God! Watch me grow bigger.”
He also expressed excitement about an upcoming collaboration with legendary singer 2Baba, whom he considers a mentor.
“If I paid attention to all the talk on Twitter, I wouldn’t have progressed. Most importantly, I’m growing every day. My biggest achievement is having a track with my idolo 2Baba. It’s going to be huge,” he said.
