Chelsea forward, Raheem Sterling is reportedly open to a surprising move to Manchester United. Sterling’s representatives have been exploring options after new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca excluded him from first-team training, effectively signaling that Sterling should leave Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old was left out of Chelsea’s Premier League opener last weekend, despite participating in pre-season, and has also not featured in Chelsea’s matches against Manchester City and Wolves this season. As a result, Sterling is expected to depart Chelsea before the summer transfer window closes.
According to the Daily Mail, Sterling has not dismissed the possibility of joining Manchester United. Sterling, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022, has also previously played for Liverpool.
