Take-It-Back Movement Unveils Time, Convergence Points For Protesters In Lagos, Rivers, Kwara, Others

The organizers of the #FearlessInOctober protests have shared the schedule and gathering locations for the event, which will begin on October 1, 2024, and continue until their demands are addressed.

The protests, set to take place nationwide, aim to draw attention to the issues of hunger and economic hardship and urge President Bola Tinubu’s administration to address the negative impact of its policies on Nigerians.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the Take It Back Movement revealed that protesters in Lagos State will gather at Ikeja Under Bridge at 7:30 am. In Rivers State, the meeting point is Pleasure Park, Port Harcourt, with participants expected to arrive by 7:30 am.

Protesters in Borno State will converge at the Arewa Youth For Peace Office on Damaturu Road at 8:00 am. In Yobe State, the assembly point is the Damaturu Main Roundabout, opposite the Old Motor Park to Maiduguri Road, with a start time of 8:00 am.

For Kwara State, the designated location is the Ilorin Post Office Under-bridge, with participants expected to arrive by 8:00 am.

The #FearlessInOctober protest aims to rally citizens to demand improved governance and prompt action from the government to address critical issues affecting the nation. The organizers have called on all Nigerians to join the movement in seeking a more accountable and responsive leadership.
