Gospel artist Testimony Jaga, through his annual outreach, the Street Gospel Movement, organized by the Love World Film and Arts Department, has made a positive impact in the Alagbado area of Lagos.
In a statement to Saturday Beats, the singer shared that the 24-hour event, titled ‘One Jesus, One Church, Hallelujah,’ brought spiritual, emotional, and physical healing to the local community.
He explained, “I was once rejected and lost all hope, but one day, on this same field, I encountered Jesus Christ through flyers and the support of my spiritual father, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and I was born again.”
Testimony Jaga continued, “For anyone who wants to follow my path, all they need to do is turn back to God, accept salvation in Jesus Christ, show love, tolerate others, and be generous. That’s what God desires from us.”
He also stated, “I’m a soul winner, musician, and Christian. I don’t discriminate. While some Christians may avoid associating with people from the streets, Jesus is the perfect example for us all. That’s why I call myself an evangelist for people in the streets. There’s no discrimination in heaven; we’ll all stand together as believers in God’s presence.”
The event featured various activities, including a medical outreach offering free treatment and medication to elderly residents, while children received toys, gifts, and Bibles. The program also included live performances, deliverance sessions, and testimonies, helping to touch the lives of hundreds.
Prominent guests at the event included Esther Igbekele, Akpororo, Dare Justified, Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, Senior Prophet Adetuberu, Pastor Awokemi Awofadeju, Pastor Sholayinka Agboola, KMK Abiola, Dre-Stick, Tosin Also, DJ Maxwell, and Bishop Chikancy, among others.
