The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Northwest has resolutely reaffirmed its determination to reclaim national power by 2027. In a compelling communiqué released at the close of a high-stakes strategic meeting and delivered by PDP Northwest Chairman, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, the party declared its mission to restore exemplary leadership to the nation.
“The PDP of the Northwest must rightfully ascend to national prominence by delivering quality leadership,” the communiqué asserted. It further emphasized that all internal discord must be swiftly resolved, as Nigerians depend on the PDP for transformative governance.
Undeterred by the setbacks of the 2023 general elections, the party highlighted its formidable grassroots support and the growing national momentum in its favor. “We call for unyielding unity among our ranks to overcome challenges and secure victory in 2027. Every member must rally to seize leadership in our states and at the national level,” the statement urged.
The high-profile meeting also featured eminent PDP figures, including former Kaduna State Governor Senator Ahmed Makarfi, ex-Kano State Governor Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, Jigawa PDP governorship candidate Mustapha Sule Lamido, Senator Lado Dan Marke, Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan, Hon. Ango Abdullahi, and the PDP National Youth Leader, among others.
