Tinubu wishes Muslim faithful spiritual fulfillment during Ramadan

President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt wishes to Nigeria’s Muslim community and believers worldwide as they commence the sacred month of Ramadan. In a personally signed statement, he expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the privilege of witnessing this holy period—a cornerstone of the Islamic faith.

Tinubu emphasized that Ramadan is a time for deep introspection, heightened devotion, and acts of compassion. He described the month as a season of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and empathy for the less fortunate, urging all Muslims observing the fast to embrace the enduring values of piety, humility, and selflessness.

Highlighting the special significance of Ramadan 2025, Tinubu noted that it coincides with a phase of renewed hope and national progress. He proudly pointed to his administration’s transformative policies that are already yielding positive results—evidenced by a marked improvement in the last quarter’s GDP, a gradual decline in the soaring prices of essential food items, a stabilizing exchange rate, and falling fuel prices. With the impending wet season, his government remains steadfast in boosting agricultural productivity through targeted support, mechanization, and innovative farming initiatives, ensuring food security and self-sufficiency for all Nigerians.

In his closing remarks, the President called upon all Nigerians to unite in prayer and proactive efforts for the nation’s continued growth and development. “May the blessings of this holy month illuminate our hearts and homes, and may we emerge as better individuals and a stronger nation,” he declared, wishing the Muslim faithful a Ramadan filled with joy, peace, and spiritual rejuvenation.
