Rockstar Games has released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, offering fans a deeper look into the game’s narrative, characters, and setting. The trailer, which debuted on May 6, 2025, introduces protagonists Jason Duval and Lucía Caminos, a criminal duo navigating the underworld of Vice City, a fictional representation of Miami.
The nearly three-minute trailer showcases high-quality cinematic visuals, highlighting the game’s modern-day setting and the dynamic between the two lead characters. Lucía Caminos marks a significant milestone as the first female protagonist in the GTA series. The storyline follows her release from prison and subsequent partnership with Jason Duval as they embark on a series of heists and navigate complex criminal networks.
Set in the state of Leonida, the game features a variety of environments, including urban landscapes, swamps, and mountainous regions. The trailer also hints at the return of Phil Cassidy, a fan-favorite character from previous installments, suggesting a blend of new narratives with nostalgic elements.
