Nigerian music superstar Tiwa Savage is set to release her first full-length project in five years, This One Is Personal, on August 29, 2025. The album is described as her most vulnerable and emotionally raw work yet, exploring themes of pain, healing, growth, and resilience through her signature Afrobeats sound.
Recorded over two years across Lagos, London, Nashville, Malibu, and San Francisco, the project reflects her global journey while keeping an intimate core. Unlike her previous albums, Tiwa keeps collaborations to a minimum, with only Skepta and Taves making guest appearances, ensuring the spotlight remains on her storytelling.
During a fan Q&A, Tiwa explained that the album is not about making a bold statement but about opening her heart and sharing her truth. She described it as “a piece of my soul,” marking a new chapter in her artistry.
