Education stakeholders have called for sustained commitment and proper implementation strategies to achieve the objectives of Nigeria’s newly introduced education curriculum.
The curriculum, designed to equip students with practical skills, critical thinking, and digital literacy, aims to bridge gaps between classroom learning and real-world applications. Experts noted, however, that without adequate teacher training, funding, infrastructure, and monitoring, the curriculum’s goals may remain unmet.
They emphasized that achieving the reform’s vision requires collaboration among federal, state, and local governments, alongside private sector support and community engagement. Proper evaluation mechanisms, they said, would ensure the curriculum addresses Nigeria’s educational and economic needs effectively.
