The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), in collaboration with education stakeholders, has commenced a comprehensive review of syllabuses covering 26 trade areas in Nigeria’s technical colleges.
The review is aimed at aligning curricula with modern industry standards, technological advancements, and the evolving demands of the labour market. According to NABTEB officials, the update will enhance the quality of technical and vocational education, better preparing students with relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
Stakeholders at the session stressed the importance of continuous curriculum reform to address skill gaps, boost innovation, and support the nation’s drive toward industrialization and economic growth.
