Northern political leaders have reaffirmed their backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition, praising his ongoing economic and governance reforms while calling for deeper North–Southwest cooperation to strengthen national unity.
Speaking after a consultative meeting in Abuja, the leaders commended Tinubu’s administration for stabilising the economy and promoting inclusive development across regions. They emphasised that the alliance between the North and Southwest has been vital to Nigeria’s political balance and should be sustained ahead of the 2027 elections.
They further urged Nigerians to remain patient as the government’s reform agenda continues to take shape, expressing confidence that Tinubu’s leadership would deliver long-term national transformation and prosperity.
