Nottingham Forest has officially confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche as their new head coach, with a contract running through June 2027.
Dyche, aged 54, becomes the third manager Forest have appointed during the 2025-26 season, following the departures of Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou. The club described Dyche as a “respected and experienced Premier League figure” whose strengths in defensive organisation, resilience, and set-piece planning suit the squad’s identity.
Dyche is expected to take charge from their upcoming Europa League fixture against Porto. He will also bring on board assistants Ian Woan and Steve Stone, both of whom have prior connections to Forest.
