Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as unprecedented infrastructure development in Abuja under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking during a project inspection tour on Monday, Wike highlighted several ongoing and completed projects, including road expansions, bridges, and urban renewal initiatives, noting that the pace and scale of development reflect the administration’s commitment to modernizing the capital city. He added that Abuja has not witnessed such a level of infrastructural transformation in decades.
The minister credited Tinubu’s decisive leadership and timely release of funds for accelerating key projects across the FCT, including the Outer Southern Expressway, new district developments, and mass housing projects. Wike emphasized that these achievements demonstrate how the Renewed Hope Agenda is translating into visible progress, reaffirming Abuja’s position as a model for urban infrastructure growth in Nigeria.
