honormeh_agangaTom Werner of Liverpool Fc has queried the football president of France on his statement concerning the incident that occurred on the 29th of may right before the commencement of the UEFA Champions League which prompted a one hour and 30 minutes delay of the kick-off.
The French football association blamed the Liverpool team and fans for the mayhem right before the game kick-off, tear gas and water cannon were some of the devices used to dissolve the angry and rioting fans of Liverpool FC as said by the football association of France.
This didn’t sit well with the traveling fans of Liverpool and also the club. The spokesman for Liverpool FC has since written a letter demanding an apology to Liverpool Fc and the traveling fans from the football association of France, stating that it was the duty of the French football association to ensure the successful planning of the ceremony before, during and after the game.
Tom Werner spokesman for Liverpool Fc said he received a lot of emails from the fans explaining the harsh conditions they were forced into and the inhuman treatment from the French police and also officials at the stadium entrance despite having their tickets at hand.
